Users are responsible for their own decisions and actions.

Marketplace and Payments

CogniviseHUB is a marketplace connecting mentors and mentees. Payments made through the platform are for mentor time and access to sessions—not for specific outcomes or guarantees. We do not guarantee results, job offers, or particular learning outcomes from any mentorship relationship.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available for sessions canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

If your mentor does not attend a session, you are eligible for a full refund or a free reschedule. Mentors who do not attend scheduled sessions may receive a warning or other penalty.

If a mentee does not attend a scheduled session, no refund is provided.

Refunds for paid sessions are only available for the first session if requested within 24 hours after the session.

No refunds are provided for missed sessions (by the mentee), late cancellations, or unused time.

No refunds are provided for:

  • Partial months
  • Unused sessions

Subscription refunds are limited to the first billing cycle and must be requested within seven days of the charge.

All platform fees are non-refundable.

Quality disputes: Refunds may be considered only if the mentor clearly violated expectations, platform guidelines were not followed, or similar circumstances. The platform's decision on any refund request is final.

Dispute Handling

When a dispute can be raised

A dispute may be submitted if:

  • A mentor did not attend a scheduled session
  • A session ended significantly early without explanation
  • The mentor did not provide the agreed type of mentorship
  • There was unprofessional or inappropriate behavior

Disputes must be raised within 24 hours of the scheduled session.

When disputes are not accepted

Disputes will not be accepted for:

  • Missed sessions by the mentee
  • Late cancellations
  • Dissatisfaction after multiple completed sessions
  • Differences in learning style or subjective preferences
  • Unused subscription time

How disputes are handled

Disputes must be submitted through the platform with a brief explanation. The platform may review:

  • Session attendance
  • Session duration
  • Message history related to the session

Additional information may be requested from either party.

Resolution outcomes

After review, the platform may:

  • Issue a full or partial refund
  • Offer a free rescheduled session
  • Deny the dispute if policy conditions are not met

All decisions made by the platform are final.

Abuse and repeat disputes

Repeated or abusive disputes may result in:

  • Account warnings
  • Suspension or removal from the platform

Mentors who repeatedly violate expectations may also be removed.
